Founded in 2004 by Paul Holmes, Diablo Country Properties was built on a foundation of integrity, personal service, and a boutique-style approach to real estate. Paul, who had retired as Senior VP of Technology and President of Holson Automation, discovered that retirement wasn’t for him after just six months—he could only play so much golf! His passion for people and business led him to create Diablo Country Properties, where he served clients until his passing in December 2024.

For over 10 years, Michele Depolo worked closely with Paul and shared his vision for personalized, client-focused service. Following Paul’s passing, Michele assumed responsibility for the brokerage, continuing its commitment to excellence and community.

Michele began her real estate career in 2004. After starting a family, she wanted a career that allowed flexibility so she could stay involved in her children’s lives, volunteering at schools and attending field trips. In 2025, Michele earned her broker’s license and continues to provide hands-on, personalized service with a unique, well-rounded perspective in an ever-evolving market.

Michele works extensively throughout Contra Costa County, including Danville, Alamo, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Clayton and Concord. Most of her business comes through referrals from law enforcement professionals, educators, friends, and family, a true testament to the trust she has built over the years.
